Status: Part-Time position, Monday to Thursday

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday: 8a-4:30p, Must somewhat flexible on Monday and Wednesday

Location: Cape Girardeau, MO

Pay: 13.00

The Job

This position is responsible for delivering inter-agency mail, supplies and small equipment among all Community Counseling locations in our 5 counties.

Essential Functions

• Beginning at the Purchasing Agents location the courier picks up inter-agency mail, other supplies and small equipment.

• At each location, deliver the mail and supplies and small equipment as well as pick up inter-agency mail and supplies and small equipment to be delivered at other locations.

• Along the route, sort the mail, supplies and small equipment from each location to be delivered at subsequent stops. Attention to details and accuracy are a must.

Agency Specific Functions

• Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.

• Complete all required training.

• Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.

• Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or HSE/GED Equivalent.

• Must possess a valid Missouri drivers license;

• Must provide proof of a good driving record;

• This position requires a valid driver's license, proof of continuous auto insurance, and must have an acceptable driving record as outlined by agency policy.

• Computer literacy a plus

• General Physical Requirements: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

We are an administrative agent for the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and we are entrusted to provide a full array of comprehensive behavioral health services within our five county catchment area.
