Courier (Part-Time)

American Heritage Credit Union, a $4.8+ Billion Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Courier for our Main Office in Northeast Philadelphia! This position is responsible for picking up and delivering documents, packages, and other items between the Red Lion Campus and the various Credit Union branches throughout the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Deliver documents and packages, including cartons of paper and supplies, between branches and to other establishments as necessary.

• Pick up and sign for blank plastic cards from EFS to be delivered to the various branches as required.

• Sort and load vehicles with items to be delivered according to the delivery route.

• Unload and sort items collected along delivery routes at various branches.

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.

• Unarm and arm branches when required. Follow correct security procedures to ensure that the branch is properly secured.

• Return to main office after all deliveries are complete and carefully follow security procedures to ensure that the establishment is locked and secured.

• Record start and finish mileage and any notable information such as packages brought back, or maintenance required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work requires a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in transporting correspondence and supplies and a clean driving record.

• Basic computer skills.

• Must be able to lift and/or move/push up to 40 pounds; frequently required to stoop, crouch, hear; occasionally required to climb, reach with hands and arms, walk, and pull.

• Work requires adherence to state, local, and federal driving regulations including the observation of all statutes pertaining to operating a motor vehicle.

• Work requires physical ability to pick up and deliver packages between Credit Union branches and other locations as necessary.

• Requires education equivalent to a four year high school diploma.

WORK HOURS

• Must be available afternoon hours Monday through Friday.

• Rotating work week schedule (2 weeks working, 1 week off) averaging a total of 60 hours every 3 weeks.

• Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.
