DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Social Services Aide 1 provides a variety of services and support for the smooth operation of the Washington County Children & Youth Department. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This position will automatically progress to a County Social Services Aide 2 after completion of one year of service at an hourly rate of $19.47 ($37,966.50/yr).

Assist clients/residents and their families with activities of daily living (such as family budgeting, marketing, housekeeping standards, personal health and hygiene, nutrition, food preparation and storage, care of clothing and use of resources), direct clients/residents in areas of childcare, and supervise interactions between children and parents per the caseworker.
