Responsibilities:

USSOUTHCOM requires continuous intelligence analysis, research, and fusion of multi-disciplined information sources to enhance the ability of USSOUTHCOM to develop comprehensive intelligence products that enhance the survivability of U.S. and partner nation forces and the effectiveness of its capability development efforts, security cooperation activities, and other operational activities. The Employee shall examine a wide range of intelligence reporting, including all-source information analysis, emphasizing Central America, South America, and the Caribbean in order to better understand the environment and plan / assess the effectiveness of planned and executed actions. USSOUTHCOM requires a common operating and intelligence picture for Irregular Warfare (IW)-related campaigns, including Counterterrorism (CT), Cyber, Stability, Security, Transition and Reconstruction (SSTR), and other assigned activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of all-source intelligence analysis experience.

  • Candidates must have 10 years of combined military or government experience.

  • Candidates must possess 5 years of counterterrorism analysis

  • Candidates must possess 4 years of experience working with US government interagency

  • Candidates must have 3 years of analytical experience with a Combatant Command.

  • Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of USSOUTHCOM missions and responsibilities.

  • Candidates must be proficient with current information systems used by the intelligence community.

  • Strong skills in written and oral English and excellent analytical ability, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are also required.

Bonus Points:

  • Significant experience using Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), Analyst Notebook, Palantir, ArcGIS, WebTAS, CIDNE, and Google Earth is highly desirable.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.

(HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide. HII-MDIS is currently seeking a Training Facilitator onsite to work out of SOUTHCOM J7/9. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following): * Provide expert advice to the Commander/Director on Individual Training Support matters, joint doctrine, and varied programs (i.e. graphic training aids, Joint/Service doctrine and training literature, and Joint/Service training schools courseware). * Assist the command in identifying Joint Force Development and Readiness shortcomings and communicates, coordinates, and disseminates information designed to address the identified shortcomings. * Work as a member of a team of Training Specialists and shall analyze/support the policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of training. * Plan and coordinate Individual Training Support activities and initiatives that cut across command boundaries that do not clearly fall within the mission area of any single directorate. * Create and revise training materials by performing instructional design, development, validation, and evaluation based on DoD criteria and methods documented in training, education, and training technology publications. * Design training courses and events to include training sequences, lesson outlines, learning objectives, resource requirements, evaluation of training, test items, scripts and storyboards. * Support the use and maintenance of the command's Learning Management System (LMS), to include creation of accounts, assignment of training, uploading courseware, recording of completion of training, and development of reports. * Manage the Command Onboarding Program, create program taskers, coordinate with instructors on presentation times, provide status update briefings and de-conflicts the course schedule. * Provide an Onboarding Program briefing to new arrivals during the U.S. Army Garrison-Miami monthly Newcomers Orientation. * Coordinate with the Command Training Center (CTC) Network team towards ensuring the CTC systems (NIPR/SIPR) are ready for the course. * Orchestrate the execution of the 4-day Onboarding Training (accountability, instructor coordination, adherence to training schedule, etc.) and maintain detailed Onboarding Program progress/completion records for all newly arrived personnel. * Lead the planning, coordination, and support process for the Command Training Working Group (TWG) and develop the taskers towards receiving the annual training request across the Command for Joint Individual Training, Civilian Individual Training, and 21st Century Skillsets Training programs. * Compile the annual training needs requirements across the three training programs, and subsequently prioritizes training requirements by applying a mathematical analysis methodology in in creating the a by-name list and provides training program recommendations towards approval by the TWG. * Plan, support, coordinate, and oversees the execution of 21st Century Skillsets Mobile Training Teams. * Perform as the SCJ7/9's Reviewer in the Defense Travel System for all Joint Individual Training and Civilian Training. * Provide technical support (records creations and updates, password reset, etc.) as part of the SCJ7/9's Learning Management System (LMS) Team. Experience and Requirements * Successful candidate will have knowledge and experience supporting the Department of Defense, and be familiar with military, Service, and joint operations. * The candidate shall have a working knowledge of strategic operations, training scenario development, and organizational operating procedures as well as familiarity with policies, plans, and procedures defined in reference documents. * Candidate must be proficient in MS Office and Adobe Suites, to include Adobe Captivate, and have excellent written and oral communication. * Familiarity with learning theories, course design, and scenario development is a plus. * Direct experience at the Joint Staff and/or a Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) or previous direct assignment to USSOUTHCOM desired. Security: * All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements. * The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. * Must have and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
