Position Summary To service customers by phone or in person through sales of heavy duty parts in accordance with identified customer needs and availability of parts in order to make a profit for FleetPride. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold.

Essential Tasks

  • Help determine and obtain heavy duty parts for customers as requested by phone or in person.

  • Suggest sale of related parts for full service.

  • Locate and obtain ordered part for customer from central warehouse or branch.

  • Determine sales price for customers for each sale in accordance with company procedure.

  • Handle warranty or defective parts for customers in accordance with company procedure.

  • Write up approved charge sale in accordance with company procedure

  • Special order parts on an emergency basis when necessary and appropriate.

  • Process approved credits for customer when merchandise is returned.

  • Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and structures as required by company procedure.

  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product features.

  • Provide customers with product catalogs.

  • Utilize non-selling, non-servicing time by studying catalogs, reviewing price sheets, bulletins, changes, additions, and deletions.

  • Ensure that counter parts area is clean and in order. Ensure that display areas encourage sales.

  • Ensure that product catalogs are current. Discard old ones and replace with new ones.

Physical Demands

  • Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.

Environmental / Physical Demands

  • Inside/Outside Conditions, Varied Temperature Changes, Minimal Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Dust, Vehicle Noise

Equipment

  • OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes required from the first day of this job.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Strong Computer Skills

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales; sales of heavy-duty automotive parts preferred.

Additional Details * Achievement of monthly Personal Production Goals and MC admit budgets for assigned locations. * Successfully executes a weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategy to increase market share through key account development including prospecting/diversification and call frequency/routing. Plans activity to maximize territory coverage of both existing and prospective accounts. * Responsible for executing effective sales calls that identify and meet the needs of the referral community and clearly communicate the features and benefits of the LHC Group. These include pre and post call planning, establishing rapport, effective questioning skills, proposing solutions, handling objections and closing. * Works closely with the Executive Director/Clinical Director to drive a vision of growth by focusing every team member on the needs and expectations of the referral community and patients. * Responsible for all sales administration duties including, but not limited to, Playmaker, CRM expense entry compliance, BOA with associated Policies and Procedures, payroll time sheets, Weekly 3LS meetings with strategic updates, PTO requests, paperwork (485/F2F) delivery or pick-up when needed, timely cell phone and e-mail correspondence. * Responsible for being a good steward of the company's financial resources by projecting a return on monies spent and managing to a Sales and Marketing expense budget. * Knows the features and benefits of the services provided by LHC Group. Is able to articulate competitive advantages, specialty programs, and Medicare guidelines. Educates the medical community about the services of our organization through effective sales calls and in-services with the appropriate tools and literature. * Any other tasks that are assigned. Qualifications * Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred Experience Requirements * Two to three years of prior successful Home Health or Hospice sales experience preferred.
