Job Title: Count Room Drop Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Count Room Drop Attendant at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of funds within our casino. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Remove full drop boxes from the slot machines and securely transport them to the count room.

• Verify paperwork against the drop verification report and meticulously document any errors and their corrections.

• Maintain open communication with the Count Room Manager, providing regular updates on all soft count activities and addressing any irregularities.

• Collaborate effectively with other team members, utilizing clear verbal communication during the drop process on the casino floor.

• Skillfully operate currency counting and sorting machines to ensure precise and efficient processing.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in computer input and operation of a ten-key adding machine.

• Possess basic math skills for accurate calculations.

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Exhibit excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient handling of tasks.

• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during high-stress and fast-paced situations.

• Ability to effectively communicate with both team members and guests.

• Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

• Successfully complete the pre-employment process.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays, as needed.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:

• Perform a diverse range of physical tasks, including constant standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional movements at shoulder level, as well as frequent squatting, kneeling, and bending.

• Demonstrate the capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, as well as push/pull items of similar weight.
