We currently have an open position for a Count Team Supervisor who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, is very detail oriented, and able to lead a team. A successful candidate for this position has a background in finance and is accustomed with gaming regulations. In addition, having experience in cash operations, ideally in the gaming industry will be a huge plus for this role. The Count Team Supervisor, along with or in the absence of the Count Room Manager, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the drop process and count room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for efficient overall operation of the drop and count room and staff.

  • Responsible for maintaining a coordinated drop and count process.

  • Assure that count room procedures are followed in compliance with gaming regulations.

  • Completion of financial reports, paperwork and security of information within.

  • Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.

  • Delegate duties and assign responsibilities.

  • Ensure staff is adequately trained to perform all required count team responsibilities including: counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording of all funds.

  • Effectively operate computers and machines used in the processing of all funds.

  • Effectively maintain a clean and organized count room.

  • Effectively and accurately maintain the count room data.

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating policies / procedures pertaining to the count and drop count process.

  • Responsible to put together strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the count team duties.

  • Responsible for placing count team supply orders to the Count Room Manager.

  • Review count room activities with the Count Room manager.

  • Other duties as assigned by Count Room Manager.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Management abilities demonstrated in effectively managing the count room.

  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.

  • Oral and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the count room.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Two to Five years experience in casino finance or banking with a 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

  • One year experience with a currency counting machine.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Resolve customer issues and provide an excellent shopping environment by ensuring the interior, exterior and bathroom areas are kept clean. Identify selling opportunities and ensure products are available for customer purchase by stocking inventory in accordance with prescribed plan-o-grams. Complete necessary steps and paperwork to receive all deliveries and ensure fuel and merchandise are available to customers. Submit service tickets to resolve problems or issues affecting the store. Complete all tasks necessary to prepare for opening or closing store including fuel surveys and shift duties as required. In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolve problems, review daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance. Train new cashiers on daily duties. REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+ Years of age, 19 in Alabama and 21 in Illinois. High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 month of related on the job experience. Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience. Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
