Empower and guide those in substance abuse recovery in the Western Massachusetts community!
Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Counselor in the Northern Hope Center at Behavioral Health Network! Counselors work alongside the Program Director and Senior Counselor to ensure compliance and quality of services and activities provided to the individuals. Counselors provide guidance and direct counseling to individuals in their caseload and develop and facilitate unique treatment plans. Counselors facilitate diverse psycho-educational groups for the individuals and help them with aftercare planning by referring them to appropriate agencies. When needed, Counselors provide crisis intervention and emergency services and may contact their supervisors for guidance. Additionally, Counselors provide transportation for individuals, report any recognized safety and maintenance concerns in their program, and complete required documentation fully, accurately, and on time.
Counselors will learn to work as a collaborative team with the goal of delivering high quality sound clinical treatment. Counselors will grow through ongoing training and firsthand experience that will enhance their skills and provide additional employment opportunities.
