What You Will Do

As an Associate with Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital

  • NY, you will have the opportunity to provide behavioral health counseling services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.

  • Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.

  • Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.

  • Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
  • Professional Certification specializing in Prevention credentialed from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, social sciences, education, health or public administration required and 2 years experience desirable OR Master's Degree and 1 year of experience in health or human service, education or substance abuse program.
