Help those in mental health services regain a more fulfilling life!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Counselor at the Crisis Stabilization Unit at Behavioral Health Network in Springfield, MA! Counselors use their interviewing, observation, and documentation skills to establish rapport with psychiatric individuals, family members, and service providers. While providing comfort for individuals in the program, they also plan and implement their treatment and ensure that they are provided the necessary services for their needs. Counselors are team-based and recognize when to consult a supervisor, coworker, or another party to contribute to decision-making.

The Crisis Stabilization Unit is a safe, supervised, 15-bed environment combining Department of Mental Health and Crisis beds. Individuals served at CSU are provided a range of services including medical evaluations, groups, and one-on-one meetings, among other services.
