The Opportunity: Step into a pivotal role as a Counselor III where you'll provide therapeutic and supportive services for adults navigating severe mental illness and addiction challenges. You'll be the bridge between clients and a spectrum of resources, working hand-in-hand with Peer Navigators to deliver peer-driven services that truly make a difference.

  • Be an advocate, guiding clients through complex systems to secure the support they need.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Education: A Master's degree in a behavioral science field and a Peer Support Specialist certification with Traditional Health Worker (THW) status.

  • Experience: You've been in the trenches, having used mental health services yourself and providing peer support for at least two years.

  • Specialized Skills: You know the DSM, can develop effective person-directed plans, and have mastered motivational interviewing.

  • Passion: Your lived experience fuels your desire to support others, and you thrive in diverse, high-energy environments.

  • Leadership and Decision Making: You guide with empathy and decisiveness, always prioritizing client care.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Whether communicating verbally or in writing, you shine in your ability to engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

  • Flexibility: You adapt to changing environments and thrive in situations requiring on-the-spot decision-making.
