Job Summary
Responsible for providing outpatient assessment, counseling and psychological services. Makes referrals as appropriate.
Essential Functions
Provides assessment, counseling, and referrals for children, adolescents, individual adults and couples for family, substance abuse, mental health, career and other areas.
Establishes and maintains open, professional and positive communications in all aspects of job performance
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and development by participation in staff meetings, in-services, activities, and educational programs for improvement of skills and to maintain competencies and licensure requirements.
Interfaces with community personnel and professionals, including teachers, physicians and health care providers, probation officers, pastors and attorneys.
Committed to the continuous improvement of the client experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service. Adheres to the organization's published values.
Qualifications
Two semesters of direct counseling experience. (May be obtained during pre-degree internship.) Required Must possess a high level of knowledge of counseling techniques Required
CRT-At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty
