Purposes
As a seasoned practitioner provide the highest quality of direct counseling services, consultation to ecclesiastical leaders, community resource development and referral, and support to other staff, while working under minimal supervision. As approved, provide exemplary program supervision, ecclesiastical outreach, and professional training to other staff. Provide quality customer service and comply with policy, licensing requirements, and professional standards of practice.
Responsibilities
Time in each responsibility will vary dependent upon location.
1.Provide the highest quality of direct clinical care with minimal supervision
2.Provide the highest quality of consultation, and develop and maintain positive relationships with church leaders
3.Ensure legal, ethical and policy compliance
4.Evaluate and identify area needs, and develop community resources
5.Responsible for own continued professional development and serve as mentor for other staff as invited
6.Protects and ensures client confidentiality
7.Develop and fulfill 'whole area service plan', including traveling to outlying areas and overnight as needed, working evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
8.As assigned, provide clinical and or agency supervision to Counselors 1 and 2 and Interns.
Qualifications
2.Hold and maintain current independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or other clinical licensure)
3.Minimum of 5 years post masters' professional experience including 3 years post independent licensure. One year of post independent licensure may be replaced by NOJOS and DOC Credentialing for Sexual Abuse Treatment TEAM (SATT).
4.Ability to provide clinical supervision of others pursuing clinical licensure
5.Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and receptiveness to feedback.
6.Current employees must have 'met' or 'exceeded' expectations in the previous three years' year-end evaluations (Results)
7.Current employees must have rated as 'proficient' or higher in the previous two years' year end evaluation (Behavior and Leadership)
8.LDS Family Services Executive Council approval
Worthiness Qualification
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
