The Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA provides legal guidance to further KLA's strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company. We are looking for a self-motivated employment lawyer to join its busy legal team in supporting a growing global business. This position will report to the Associate General Counsel, Global Employment Law, but operate with substantial independence. The primary responsibility will be to provide pragmatic advice & counsel in a timely & responsive manner on a broad range of employment law issues. Responsibilities will include:
Guiding compliance with federal, state, & local laws
Developing, improving, & implementing policies, plans, & practices
Staying on top of employment-related legal developments & engaging proactively to drive compliance & implement risk-mitigating strategies
Reviewing & drafting contracts & various employment documentation
Driving & supporting designated projects & workplace initiatives
Building & delivering training programs
Guiding internal investigations
Experience working directly with managers & executives
Experience working with a tech company
Global employment law experience
Doctorate (Professional) with at least 5 years of experience.
