Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a Cost Excellence and Productivity Manager based in Houston, Texas.
Cost Excellence and Productivity Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives on product competitiveness. In this role, he/she will integrate and facilitate product management and cost out initiatives that meet business needs across OFS, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Drive/Support strategic OFS Engineering initiatives on product competitiveness and drive commercial intensity
Manage projects/programs that support the strategic priorities of OFS Business Analytics and rationalization on product cost out
Collaborate with Product Line and cross functional groups in driving cost out opportunities
Plans, directs, coordinates with NPI team and evaluates portfolio margins and facilitate improvements
Consults with division engineering and commercial teams regarding business level forecasts, inventory reserves, and other factors which may drive direct material productivity
Manage and report product productivity metrics
Conducts all business activities in accordance to BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
Bachelor's degree required
5 years of experience in Product Cost
Proven track record of pricing acumen for complex deals
Strong analytical and model interpretation skills
Previous experience in Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or Sales
Demonstrated ability for coordinating in high pressure and time sensitive environment
Ability to identify key Commercial issues and processes and implement creative solutions
Advanced degree preferred
Previous supervisory / people management experience desired
Experience working across different product lines
High level of personal energy, credibility and presence
Comfortable operating both strategically and at tactical level
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Strong project management skills and business acumen
