STV is a multi-discipline engineering/architectural consulting and construction management company performing over $300 million in revenue annually. STV's Construction Management Division is a nationwide practice that provides a distinctive range of expertise to clients in both the public and private sectors. Our varied services encompass program, project and construction management, as well as project controls, purchasing and contracting, and fiscal stewardship. Our portfolio within the Construction Management Division includes providing a diverse set of services centered within Program, Project and Construction management in the public works, healthcare, research, commercial, industrial, educational, judicial, institutional, transportation and aviation market sectors.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer to perform Project controls duties under the direct supervision of the Project Controls Manager responsible for the following duties:
Tracking and management of program budget, commitments, forecasts, and actual costs.
Monitor contract and invoice workflow approvals.
Preparation, processing, and progress tracking of change orders for extra work.
Tracking and distribution of all vendor and contractor contract authorizations.
Preparation and maintenance of all documentation related to contract contingencies and allowances.
Review and processing of contractor prepared payment applications and all diversity and inclusion plans and achievement reporting.
Preparation of monthly report budget and cost reports, including program dashboards.
Coordinate with Project Managers to collect updated forecast information.
Implementation and compliance with all current client procedures and requirements.
Data entry related to all of the above.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field from an accredited College or University.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls, preferably in a cost management role.
Required experience managing budgeted / cost in Project Management Information Systems (PMIS); Preferred experience working in Procore.
Ability to prioritize client requests and communicate orally and electronically in a professional
Must be flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines.
Preferred accreditations from AACE or CMAA
