MILA is a restaurant, rooftop lounge, and mixology bar aiming to transport guests on a culinary journey of flavorful MediterrAsian cuisine. Following the success of the original restaurant, RDG plans to expand to new concepts and locations, focusing initially on the Florida market. It has shown the quickest development rates and is anticipating some of the best economic growth worldwide.

RDG is now actively exploring other national markets such as New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, as well as further afield in London, Dubai and Mexico City for potential expansion opportunities.

At Riviera Dining Group, the Cost Controller is an integral part of the business team. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to a variety of brands associated with our Food & Beverage teams. Your work will have a direct impact on the overall growth and profitability of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Corporate Accountants and Accounting Operations in the following key areas for our portfolio of businesses.

• Financial Management: Oversee all accounting operations for multiple restaurant brands, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipt reconciliation, and general ledger

• Oversee financial operations including, but not limited to, AP/AR, Job Costing, Budgets, and Cash Flow Management

• Prepare financial statements and all supporting schedules (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Work in Progress Statement, etc.)

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Food & beverage or hospitality accounting/financial management required

• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate great attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tasks and deliverables

• Communication and Organization Skills: Possess strong communication and organization skills, enabling effective collaboration within a dynamic team

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exhibit the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve effectively

• Self-starter mentality: Ability to take a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges

• Task Management: Comfortably manage multiple tasks, balancing priorities to meet deadlines

Other Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of Hotel industry accounting principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

• General office assignments-(typing), which lends itself to repetitive motion.

• Sitting in a stationary position for several hours within the day.
