Orion is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to join our team! The Cost Accounting Manager will manage accounting for inventory. This includes development and maintenance of standards costs as well as monthly closing activities and analysis.

Development and maintenance of standard costs for material, labor, and overhead for manufacturing
Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management
Coordination of physical inventory procedures and variance analysis including inventory reconciliations
Monthly closing activities including preparation of required reserves, capitalized variances, and review of cost of sales expense accounts
Reporting to operations and finance management on results of monthly and ad hoc analyses
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
3+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience
Cost accounting experience within the manufacturing industry
Public company experience ideal
