Here's the Gist:

Wolfspeed is seeking a Lead Cost Accountant within our Corporate Finance group. This position will report to the Cost Accounting Director and will lead a team to support the business in manufacturing variance analysis, costing, reconciling, and budgeting of inventory.

The Day-to-Day:

• Lead costing efforts related to the ERP implementation of SAP S4 HANA.

• Support the business and operations finance functions by developing and issuing key analytic reports.

• Perform and oversee monthly close duties, including booking journal entries and review procedures.

• Prepare budget versus actual analysis related to product costs, factory yields, and standards variances.

• Forecast product costs for all annual, quarterly, and monthly budget cycles.

• Financial modeling to calculate impacts of potential business strategies.

• Ad hoc reporting and special projects, primarily related to understanding product costs, factory output, and the enhancement of financial performance.

• Work with other team members and groups to gain efficiencies and implement process improvements.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

• BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting with 5-7+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles

• Experience leading a team

• Prior cost accounting experience

• Prior SAP experience - preferably in the Costing Module

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills

• Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
