In this position you will be responsible for:

• Customer Orders and Project Management

• Setup customer orders and prepare invoicing as required.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as required.

• Assist in monitoring project profitability.

• Work with various personnel regarding the proper reconciliation of job costing and proper closing of jobs in order to facilitate accurate costing of all jobs.

• Cost Accounting

• Apply cost accounting procedures and methods in order to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Assist with month-end closing and inventory reports in accordance with GAAP.

• Review postings of Inventory Control entries for accuracy and reasonableness.

• Prepare manual journal entries as needed.

• Produce monthly reconciliations and recurring schedules.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost center reports, and variances.

• Analyze the financial information including job and operational costs and assist management in developing and monitoring corrective actions as needed.

• Recommend changes to business processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.

• Maintain and track fixed assets records.

• Assist with audit and tax reporting including preparing requested schedules.

• Financial Reporting

• Utilize the ERP system and Excel to create and maintain monthly reports.

• Produce ad hoc reporting as needed.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting process.

• Additional projects and duties as needed to support the accounting department and the overall business.

Who we're looking for?

• BS in Accounting or Finance required

• 3-5 years' experience in finance and accounting preferred

• Prior Manufacturing and Percentage Completion accounting experience preferred

• Strong computer skills, specifically Excel and Word

• Experience with various ERP and software programs (Syteline ERP preferred)

• Good written and oral communications skills

• Must be a proven hands-on team player

• Detail orientated with good analytical skills

• High organizational skills

• Task oriented and solution driven

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
