We are looking for two talented recent graduates who majored in accounting or finance to join the cost accounting development program. The positions will be based in our Wilmington, Ohio and Boise, Idaho manufacturing facilities.

Position Summary:

As a member of the inaugural Cost Accountant Development Program, you will have four 6-month rotations including base cost accounting, inventory management, sourcing, and a corporate rotation which may include internal audit, shared services, or financial planning and analysis.

Each rotation will provide an opportunity to participate in the daily activities of the specific area while learning the interactions between functions. This position will support management in reporting and analyzing the manufacturing site's financial performance. Also includes participation in the month-end accounting close process and ensuring the Company's adherence with generally accepted accounting principles and SOX controls.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with setting annual standard cost.

  • Review production work order variances and analyze trends.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through monitoring policy adherence and financial controls.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly Key Performance Indicators.

  • Prepare journal vouchers and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financials and conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and quarterly close.

  • Participate in financial forecast process including preparing estimates, analyzing results, and explaining variances.

  • Support internal and external financial audit requests.

  • Maintain appropriate internal control safeguards over financial reporting as required.

  • Performs other assignments as directed.

Job Qualifications:

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and database reporting tools.

  • Prior experience or internship in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role in is $60,000 to $73,000. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
