Job Description: Maintain adequate corrosion control systems for pipelines and Terminals, including monitoring, testing, design, and installation. Corrosion control systems will include cathodic protection, atmospheric and subsurface coatings and internal corrosion prevention such as chemical treatments and monitoring.

  • Maintain effective corrosion control systems for pipeline and terminals. Run tests, as needed for design of corrosion control systems. Inspect installation of cathodic protection systems.

  • Troubleshoot and mitigate interference problems as required. Utilize Allegro field computer to collect regulatory CP data, enter and review data into CPDM for area of responsibility. Provide recommendations for improvements based on collected data.

  • Constantly interacts, trains and supports operations personnel concerning corrosion control. Inspect and advise on coating inspection and failure analysis as needed.

  • Insure compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduce potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.

  • Improve operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.

    Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have NACE Cathodic Protection Certification.
5-8 years of experience required. Must have experience in mitigation of corrosion of subsurface pipelines and above ground storage tanks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy. Ability to manage time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines. Ability to work successfully in stressful situations, and manage multiple tasks. Ability to use awareness of relationships and impacts of data trends and elements to appropriately recommend action that impacts the integrity of company assets. Ability to independently conduct job accountabilities. Ability to take directions from supervisor. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Apply now to join our team. *Maintenance Spec IV/CAFM Specialist & Administrative Support - Performs moderately complex administrative support and/or technical program assistance in the CAFM program. Directly responsible for maintaining the systems operation and interface with central office related to the CAFM system. Serves as the expert for CAFM and provides training for BSSH in use of CAFM. Serves as a back-up to the Plant Manager for CAD system. Manages the organization and record keeping for all hospital projects. Provides administrative support through developing/entering purchase requisitions, running work order reports, and maintaining departmental databases and spreadsheets as requested. Works under the general supervision of the Plant Manager.Essential Job Functions: EFJ 1: CAFM10 (40%) Develops, coordinates and maintains CAFM record keeping and filing systems. Enters assets and ensures assets are maintained up to date. Enters preventive work orders and provides copies to maintenance staff monthly. Submits or creates reports upon request. Ensures that CAFM records are maintained current and accurate. Performs system maintenance and technical support activities as needed.EJF 2: Administrative Support (20%) Performs moderately complex administrative support and/or technical program assistance to Plant Manager. Completes purchasing requests/requisitions as needed. Facilitates the department's annual blanket requisitions and correspondence with hospital vendors ensuring compliance with departmental and hospital procedures. Makes procurement card purchases. Assists in entering and closing work orders, as needed or requested. Provides or assists with maintaining an accessible, up to date and accurate filing system.EJF 3: CAD (10%) Back-up CAD system operator assists in maintaining hospital drawings using the CAD software. Assist in ensuring that building floor plans, evacuation plans, utility plot drawings and other schematics are maintained current and accurate. Advises supervisor when concerns are identified about accuracy of information provided for drawings. Ensures an easy access filing system for hospital drawings. Ensures current evacuation plans and utility plot plans are provided for Safety Officer, Security, Communications, Facilities Director, Project Manager, and each identified location for Incident Command Posts.EFJ 4: Project Organizer (10%) Manages the organization of record keeping for all projects. Maintains special project spreadsheets/data bases. Advises supervisor when concerns are identified about accuracy of information provided for drawings. Provides blue prints, drawings, schematics, floor plans, etc., as requested for special projects. Post evacuation plans for each building. Ensures an easy access filing system for hospital drawings.EFJ 5: ATTENDANCE (5%): Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.EFJ 6: Continuity of Operations (COOP) (5%): Actively participates and/or serves in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Is familiar with and responds to BSSH emergency or disaster situations according to specified role in the BSSH All-Hazards Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
