Our Capital Markets team manages the interest rate and operational risks associated with the origination, sale and servicing of mortgage loans, and provides liquidity for the mortgage assets originated by Wells Fargo.

Correspondent Lending is seeking to hire Mortgage Loan Acquisition Correspondent Operations Production Specialist 4 positions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will review closed loan documentation for adherence to regulatory, company and agency regulations. These individuals will be responsible for making baseline decisions on whether to approve, suspend, or recommend loans for non-purchase through the loan review process. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with other team members of the business line to ensure service level agreements are met throughout the loan purchase process. They must be coachable and willing to learn additional proficiencies as the business evolves. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and results-driven.

  • Reviews closed loan documentation for adherence to regulatory, company, and agency regulations.

  • Makes baseline decision on whether or not to approve, suspend, or recommend loans for non-purchase through the loan review process.

  • Collaborates with other members of the business line to ensure service level agreements are met throughout loan purchase process.

Office based position only. This position is not available to work remote.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting mortgage/financial documents

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Mortgage document experience

  • Ability to be flexible in an ever-changing environment

  • Willingness to learn additional skills and take on additional tasks, if necessary

  • Ability to evaluate mortgage loan documents to ensure no discrepancies causing undue risk to the company

  • Experience in Correspondent Operations

Job Expectations

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
