Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions
Under administrative direction of the Asst. Warden of Operations (SPSA), serves as a full line supervisor, directing the corrections treatment officers and related staff; establishes overtime charts, directs facility security activities; directs routine, random shakedowns of offender living areas; gathers data related to facility security/safety incidents and reviews to establish future preventative measures; serves as a Duty Administrative Officer as assigned.
Requires either a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university specializing in criminal justice, penology, psychology, social work or a closely related social science, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in another field of study and at least one year of experience providing direct service in the field of mental health and one year of experience in the field of corrections.
Additionally requires three years' supervisory experience in a related institutional setting. Requires successful completion of an approved corrections treatment officer training program within 6 months of hire.
Work Hours & Location/Agency Contact: WORK HOURS: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with days off of Sunday and Monday.
