DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Barber Instructor, you will be responsible for the supervision and instruction of inmates in a structured classroom and on-the-job vocational barbering training program. You will plan, develop, and administer the barber training program and maintain the barber school in accordance with state regulated guidelines. Additionally, you will arrange for inmate students to take the Barber License test when they are eligible.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40-hour work week.
Work hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday.
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $48,425.00 (before taxes).
