We are looking for a talented CIF Team Lead
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Coordinates work team(s) to ensure success in attaining stated objectives. Incumbent ensures the resources, skills, training, materials, and information are available to the team to safely receive, inspect, manufacture, package, and/or ship a quality product which meets customer expectations and schedules.
In charge of safety, quality, making sure hourly production rates are met, inventory, end of day reports, tool collection, facility safety, and ensure doors are locked.
Perform daily safety walks and checks in your area, including PPE checks for employees, ensure team members perform standardized work, and review equipment racks.
Maintain APS and hour-by-hour boards and keep all information on the board fully updated, including post quality tracking charts and sheets, audit and maintain safety board and flexibility charts.
Allocate manpower according to the situation and Team Member skills. Cover for absenteeism where needed within the team, group, or department.
Identify and support all throughput improvement opportunities; and maximize the value-added cycle time on jobs.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Significant experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and experience.
Prior team lead experience.
Experience as a Correctional officer is desired.
Must be a quick learner and able to collaborate with others.
Familiarity with quality and time.
Readiness to adhere to safety requirements.
Familiarity with hand tools and fasteners
Knowledge of Microsoft suite.
Ability to troubleshoot minor issue.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
