Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Corporate Travel Manager to join our Corporate Events & Travel Team. The responsibilities will fall under the following categories:

  • Direct, operate, and administer the DISH travel program.

  • Manage a team of in-house travel agents; delegate work assignments.

  • Ensure that air, hotel and car reservations are being booked for travelers.

  • Assist with travel issues, including after-hours issues.

  • Resolve any problems with travel or accommodations by using protocol and communicating with all relevant parties.

  • Negotiate all air, hotel, parking and car rental contracts and monitor compliance.

  • Manage Travel & Expense Policy.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including travel management company.

  • Prepare periodic travel reports.

  • Provide a high level of customer service to travelers.

  • Responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, terminations, and other related human resource activities.

  • Manage travel technology systems.

  • Maintains travel industry knoweldge and conducts research to ensure approriate customer service and problem solving.

  • Prepare a monthly newsletter for travelers.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Corporate Travel Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; and 5 years of experience in managing a corporate travel program; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of Apollo a plus.

  • Management skills.

  • Detail oriented.

Job Duties and Responsibilities DISH Network is seeking a paralegal to support the M&A, Securities and Corporate Governance Team in the legal department. This role will report to a managing member of the team in DISH's Legal Department and will work closely with all members of the team. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: * Assist attorneys with review and preparation of various legal documents; catalog, file and organize legal documents. * Assist with closing duties (e.g., collecting, filing and circulating documents for review and signature); perform due diligence and research, prepare related reports. * Assist in the management and execution of various corporate-related aspects of transactions and conducting legal research on various corporate law issues. * Preparing meeting materials and minutes, preparing and managing corporate governance and related policies, monitoring and reporting on external governance trends and best practices. * Assist with the management of legal entities and the Company's legal structure, including organizing and dissolving entities and providing ongoing compliance with legal requirements and best practices. * Assist with the Company's SEC filings and earnings releases. * Assist in other substantive legal areas as needed. * Work with members of Legal leadership, attorneys and staff on departmental matters. #LI-ST1 Skills - Experience and Requirements A successful Paralegal – M&A, Securities and Corporate Governance will have the following: * Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, and 0-3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Prior experience in contracts, contract administration and/or database management (preferred but not required); paralegal certification and experience with contract management systems (preferred but not required). * Demonstration of excellent written and oral communications skills is required, along with demonstration of a high level of proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). * The ability to adapt quickly and take charge of a complex and dynamic office environment; strong organizational skills. * Experience in large corporate legal environments, and specific experience with telecommunications, technology and/or other focused areas (preferred but not required). * The successful candidate will be a dynamic team player, searching for an opportunity for increased responsibility and professional growth.
