Egencia Corporate Travel Center services both domestic and international reservations. The individuals chosen for this position will have a passion for the travel industry, be self-motivated, articulate, with strong interpersonal skills all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

What you'll do

  • Arranging/booking travel including: air, rail, hotel, car and alternate ground transportation

  • Promote and maintain excellent client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response with positive telephone and service techniques

  • Actively recommend to clients efficient and alternate routes, lowest available fares, booking class, exchange rates and travel products/services

  • Research and solve any problems related to reservations

  • Prepare thorough trip itineraries as requested by individual travelers using preferred vendors

  • Act as the first point of contact for the client regarding all travel related inquiries

  • Effectively manage resources and workflow to ensure service guidelines are met and maintained

  • Demonstrates a highly professional attitude and personal presentation in all verbal and written communications

Who you are

  • You have direct experience in the travel/hospitality industry with ability to assist in all aspects of arranging/booking travel

  • You are proficient with Sabre GDS systems (ability to read, define and apply fare rules, taxes and hub utilization)

  • You can effectively use all computer systems and tools to ensure consistency and adherence to processes and procedures

  • You have a team first mentality and can collaborate in a diverse and multicultural environment

  • You are capable of effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking while maintaining exemplary detail accuracy under pressure

  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-pace/high-volume work environment

  • You consistently provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism

  • You have a high level of productivity and are able to work efficiently combined with creative problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to work any shift M-F between 7:45am 6pm PST

Greif also manages timber properties in the south eastern United States. The Manager, Corporate Communications position is responsible for developing and executing company messages delivered through various internal and external communications channels in support of the company's strategic vision. This individual also is responsible for implementing and influencing community relations programs and contributions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * Adheres to and perpetuates the appropriate use of the Greif logo and associated brand standards. * Maintains an open and candid relationship with the Director, Corporate Communications through the exchange of information and by making recommendations that ensure a team effort in achieving goals. * Performs duties in a manner consistent with the spirit and philosophy outlined in The Greif Way and exemplifies the four behaviors of a team. * Provides innovative thinking to help identify progressive channels and methods that effectively reach key stakeholders. * Works independently and adapts well in a fast-changing environment. EDUCATION Required Education: * Bachelor's degree in communications and/or journalism, or related field. Preferred Education: * Preferred background in a corporate setting * Preferred experience with SharePoint WORK EXPERIENCE External Communications * Manages and oversees Greif's Social Media presence ensuring content and conversations are engaging and meaningful with constituents. This includes establishing the strategy, managing content, monitoring conversations and generating meaningful metrics. * Manages and oversees Greif's presence in the news media by serving as the primary contact for regional media, secondary contact for high-profile media issues and national media, cultivating relationships with media, and generating coverage that positions Greif as thought leaders in the industry. This includes maintaining a pitch process to get articles aligned with organizational objectives placed in local and trade publications, monitoring coverage, and maintaining contact lists and media alerts. * Manages the corporate website and oversees updates in coordination with the global marketing team. * Leads the global marketing team efforts to develop content for weekly Social Media posts, website articles and generate leads for media placements. * Collaborates with global marketing team to update and maintain the Brandmark Guidelines as well as corporate promotional materials which include Fact Sheet, Corporate PowerPoint deck and corporate videos. Internal Communications * Coordinates employee communications channels including creating content, coordinating design, editing and publishing. Ensure the company vision and strategic priorities are effectively communicated. * Manages the coordination, content creation and distribution of the GreifNews weekly headlines. * Manages Alert Media Employee Emergency Notification System, coordinating with global HR and facility representatives to ensure employees have access to the system and receive notifications. * Collaborates with Corporate Communications Director and Human Resources on effectively creating and supporting employee materials and programs. * Collaborates on company video projects including drafting of scripts, directing video recordings, providing edits, and managing the corporate video studio. * Serves as a resource to copyedit, proofread, and revise communications submitted for review by various company departments. Community Relations * Serves as an adhoc member of the Contributions Committee. * Partners to vet community giving requests and oversees the disbursements. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * At least five years of experience in communications * Proficient writer with the ability to deliver messages through a multi-channel approach. * Effective at managing multiple and quickly changing priorities in a dynamic environment. * Resourceful collaborator capable of cultivating relationships at all levels of the company. * Adept at determining and adjusting priorities and problem-solving independently.
