We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Trainer who will work out of our Corporate Office in Winston-Salem, NC, or remotely. Candidate will need to travel to the Corporate Office on occasion each month & travel to all of our locations frequently.
For this Corporate Trainer position, we are searching for an energetic, positive, candid, self-motivated individual with excellent coaching skills and at least 5 years of experience in the Door & Hardware industry. This person should be prepared to work with, coach, mentor & train our very talented team members, and new hires who are new to the D/F/H Industry. This position requires presentations, and you must have the ability to speak in front of small to medium groups.
Excellent customer service to our staff, and response time within 24 hours
Work with the Corporate Trainer & Employee Development for all new hire industry training
Comsense, BlueBeam training for all new hires, and any existing staff that needs this training
On-site training in Winston-Salem, NC each month (Classes TBD based on demand)
On location training when required
On-line webinar training with new & existing staff as needed
Work in conjunction with our IT Dept. on Comsense & BlueBeam support tickets, as a resource if they need additional assistance
Scheduling all new hire on-line training
This position requires up to 80% travel. Company will reimburse all mileage and expenses pertaining to this job function
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum of 5 years in the Commercial Door, Frame and Hardware Industry
Strong knowledge of Division 8 materials
Strong knowledge of Comsense Advantage & Enterprise (Must have the ability to train confidently on the software)
BlueBeam Revu knowledge
Strong specification & plan reading abilities
AHC & DHC certification or equivalent preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge in MS Word & MS Excel
Previous experience in estimating & project management required
Knowledge of door, frame and hardware applications as they relate to UL, fire code, building code, ADA, life safety and other restrictions that relate to the general commercial construction industry.
Knowledge of electronic hardware
Must have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
Effective time management skills
Strong mathematical skills
Must maintain a clean MVR in order to drive for work related purposes.
