Position Title: Corporate Trainer

The Corporate Trainer teaches the skills, processes, and procedures that our operation, retail, and loan team members are required to know to excel in their position. This position must be able to produce and understand training materials, form lesson plans, work closely with multiple departments, and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
Develop a training guide for each position within the organization.
Motivate, guide, teach and train new and existing employees on consistent procedures within a given department.
Develop an annual compliance training plan for all employees and coordinate schedules to accommodate attendance of all employees.
Train employees through the use of demonstration, lectures, team exercises, etc. to obtain the most effective result.
Adapt to the ever-changing environment of banking by staying up-to-date on what is new in banking and what other banks are doing.
Maintain a structured training process to allow for positions to be trained in a consistent manner.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to create and revise departmental procedures through process mapping.
Identify training needs and create lesson plans and curriculum for multiple positions throughout the Bank relating to the operations, retail, and loan processing functions of the Bank.
Administer all training platforms (BAI, Omega, etc.) and manage the vendor relationship.
Research new training materials, outlets, and supplies that may enhance training procedures and provide value to employees.
Be creative with new ways of presenting information while maintaining the budget.
Develop the annual compliance required training plan for all employees in conjunction with the compliance and risk management department.
Prepare compliance training records as required by auditors.
Administer and monitor the online compliance training software.
Administer our "Green Team" Training program to our retail team.
Manage records and training logs for future reference.

The work schedule will primarily be from 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some evening work may be required to accommodate training needs. Travel to other branches will be necessary to get a new hire or the staff at a branch trained.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Frequent sitting and use of hands and arms to reach, handle, and feel is necessary. Standing and walking will be required with the need for up to 30 pounds to be lifted.
