Corporate Tax Senior Accountant

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Accountant to join their team. Ensure tax compliance and optimize our tax position through collaboration with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and government agencies. This role plays a vital role in the financial health and sustainability of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file accurate, timely tax returns. Monitor tax law changes, identify potential tax issues, and optimize tax liabilities.

• Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies, collaborate on tax implications of business decisions, and provide guidance on domestic and international tax structures.

• Financial Reporting: Assist with tax provisions and financial disclosures, reconcile tax accounts, and collaborate with external auditors.

• Tax Risk Management: Assess tax risks, conduct research, resolve tax issues, and implement internal controls.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with tax authorities, advisors, and stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for tax inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or advanced degree a plus, but not required).

• 2+ years of experience in corporate tax compliance and planning (preferably in a corporation or public accounting firm).

• Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
