Description

Preparation of Federal income tax reporting for Foreign Subsidiaries of US multinational company as well as preparation of US GAAP reporting and analysis including forecasting on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

Timely preparation and filing of Federal Income tax returns foreign subsidiaries of a large US corporate group including Forms 5471, 5472, 926 and 1118. Position will be responsible for interacting with financial accounting personnel in the preparation of the return and in sourcing information to prepare the returns. Individual should possess knowledge of Corporate tax principles including taxation of foreign subsidiaries and inbound and outbound transactions.

Timely preparation of US GAAP and Statutory tax accounting processes for US corporate group and its foreign subsidiaries. Position will be responsible for interacting with financial accounting personnel in the preparation quarterly tax accruals as well as quarterly forecasting. Individual should possess general accounting skills and ability to interpret financial statement data.

Individual should have a background in corporation taxation at either a public accounting firm (large or midsize) or a large multinational corporation environment. Experience with large consolidated groups is desirable. Individual should be proficient in Excel and have exposure to tax preparation software (preferably Corptax and Corptax International).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or finance.

  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a tax preparation related environment at a large or midsize public accounting firm or large corporate tax department.

  • Knowledge of Federal Tax reporting for Foreign Subsidiaries including reporting on Forms 5471, 5472, 926 and 1118.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with other departments.

  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Good Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Tax preparation software (preferably Corptax and Corptax International) and PeopleSoft)
