The StaffAccountant position requires an organized, detail oriented and highly motivatedteam player with strong initiative, communication skills and an understandingof Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to assist the Senior StaffAccountant and Accounting Manager with regular accounting functions including,but not limited to, ledger/account maintenance, balance sheet reconciliationand journal entry preparation and posting. The incumbent will also beresponsible for coordinating the accounting close process for multiple entitiesand assisting with the internal financial reporting process.
Coordinatethe accounting close for the EMEA operating units, including actual vs.budget/forecast analysis for regional revenue and EBITDA
Preparationand posting of general journal entries and preparation of accountreconciliations and financial analysis
Assistin the internal financial reporting process including the consolidation ofmonthly, quarterly and annual financial information including inter-company,payroll, capital expenditures, cash, accounts receivable, and Other income
Assist with corporate and consolidated fixed assetanalysis including reconciliations and roll forward preparation
Assist with corporate and consolidated accountsreceivable analysis including reconciliations and roll forward preparation
Assist with inter-company analysis and reconciliations
Assist with preparation and analysis of legal entityconsolidating financial statements
Assist with software systemimplementations/conversions as needed
Excellentorganizational skills and time management
Excellentwritten and verbal skills
Abilityto exercise independent discretion on matters of significance
Strongcomputer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Detailoriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
Self-motivated,able to work in a team and independently
Knowledgeof and experience with Oracle is preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BachelorsDegree in Accounting
2to 3 years of accounting experience preferred; public accounting a plus
Enterprise systems experience preferred, preferably onOracle Financial Software
