Job Description:

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.


Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.
May make recommendations for buy versus build decision.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Typically has 5 to 10 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Candidate should have Agile SDLC experience and be comfortable creating Business Requirements documentation and converting that document to user stories.
TFS/JIRA experience is required.
Must haves - 5 to 10 years hands on experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology and Office 365 SharePoint. and TFS/JIRA experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Budgeting: Participates in bottoms-up build of operating budgets aligned with Corporate growth directive; inclusive of creating budget documents necessary to capture a comprehensive view of operational and strategic needs. * Forecasting: Responsible for oversight and tracking of Creative expense & PFS capital through monthly forecast submission. Will lead monthly expense review meetings with business partners to discuss expense trends and future project timelines. * Month-End Close: Responsible for the month-end financial close process ensuring accuracy of expense recorded to correct general ledger accounts/business units, preparing journal entries and analyzing variances to forecast. * Assist Director with reconciling intercompany global store buildouts, Licensee billings, and coding maintenance/distribution. * Serves as the day-to-day finance contact for business partners * Proactively and timely alerts Director to financial risks and opportunities; provides recommendations to mitigate. * Demonstrates ability to carry out action plan. * Promotes an environment of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to create process efficiencies. * Confidently collaborates and develops cross functional relationships with FP&A / Accounting business partners at varying levels * Exhibits flexibility and willingness to assist with ad-hoc initiatives to support business needs * Coach & develop Financial Analyst Experience, Skills & Knowledge * Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred * Working knowledge in SAP, Hyperion/Essbase.
