B. Riley Advisory Services works with lenders, law firms, private equity sponsors and companies of all types. Our Advisory Services are a unique mix of Valuation and Appraisal Services including asset-based lending (ABL) Valuations, Restructuring and Turnaround Management, Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support and Transaction Support Services including Due Diligence and Quality of Earnings Reviews. Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Corporate Events Manager II with:

  • Event venue sourcing.

  • Event pre-planning and day-of, on-site event management.

  • Development of budgets, management within approved budgets, expense tracking and payment processing.

  • Development of collateral and assets for the promotion (via web, email, social media, etc.) of all firm-hosted events and third-party event participation.

  • Post-event follow-up for attendee experience, to ensure accuracy of record keeping, and better inform leadership for future decision making.

  • Misc. orders and 3rd party vendor management: Signage / FedEx, swag, transportation, etc.

  • Other event-related tasks requested by Corporate Events Manager II or Chief Marketing Officer.

  • Operates as principal owner of:

  • Internal Engagement events, which involves planning, promotion, execution and tracking of costs / engagement metrics for employee-only activities and events.

  • Marketing closet and event / swag inventory.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Hospitality Degree preferred

  • 1-2 years' experience in Corporate Event environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery in Excel

  • Service oriented with a high level of professionalism and energy

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

  • Min Hiring Rate $55,000.00

  • Max Hiring Rate $65,000.00
