INDUSTRY: OEM, automotive lubricants
LOCATION: Houston, Texas
CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a Corporate Sales Rep to increase sales of their automotivelubricant products, develop new account strategies and maintain/expand the existing business.
- Develop customer account relationships with purchasing, research/development and operations personnel and monitor key market segment and projections.
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, networking, and announcements to determine the market needed to sell company products.
- Develop a strong pipeline of new customers through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
- Bring opportunities to a successful conclusion by coordinating the requirements, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts as necessary.
- Create and deliver compelling, customer-centric presentations and demonstrations by connecting features to customer business capabilities and drivers.
- Research the industry and competition to ensure the company is capitalizing on all potential market opportunities.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build/maintain relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify all challenges of the customer to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
- BS degree
- Solid technical understanding in lubricants for automotive
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in OEM
- Prior experience in B2B sales
- Ability to close deals, work independently and under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solver with the ability to multi-task while using analytical and decision-making skills.
