YOUR IMPACT
Wingstop is looking for a Corporate Restaurant Support Technician to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the stability of the technology stack for our corporate owned restaurants. This individual also maintains healthy, influential, and productive 3rd-party vendor relationships. This role will include, but not limited to; supporting Point of Sale system hardware, networking, telephony, camera systems, internet, low voltage cabling, audio/video equipment, and other relevant in-restaurant technologies. This individual will be responsible for coordinating services and tasks including hardware administration, software support, network, applications, and other duties.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide remote and hands on support to troubleshoot infrastructure issues with ISP's, firewalls / network, Wi-Fi, phones, fax, printers, camera systems, and audio/video equipment during business and non-business hours
Proactively monitor and manage hardware and network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as required
Map out and administer hardware/software upgrades for small to large scale projects
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and assists in acquisition, configuration, and deployment for new restaurant openings
Assists with new IT projects by investigating options and making recommendations as to what systems, hardware, and software changes are appropriate for the enterprise including; but not limited to laptops, tablets, printers, and area/department specific software
Coordinate with various vendors, brand partners (franchisees), and in-store personnel as needed related to technology implementation, issues, and overall restaurant technology support.
WHO YOU ARE
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Experience in various network systems, TCP/IP protocols, event logging and VOIP systems, DNS, routers, switches, WIFI, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Knowledge of basic restaurant hardware such as receipt printers, kitchen printers, and touch screen POS terminals
Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and event logging
Strong deductive reasoning skills to evaluate, support, and troubleshoot complex technical server/network hardware and software systems and problems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient at researching issues using traffic analysis tools, debug tools, and vendor information.
Working knowledge of PCI controls as it pertains to network architecture requirements.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree and/or current, advanced job-related experience.
3+ years of IT Infrastructure support experience
Preferred but not required - Technical certifications (A+, Network+, Security+), Experience with Aloha POS or similar POS hardware.

Frequent use of a computer and other technologies essential to the successful completion of your everyday role responsibilities

After hours support on an as needed basis.
