Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

At TranSystems, we are dedicated to attracting, developing, and retaining the top professionals. We're looking for a highly skilled recruiter to help us identify the best and brightest talent, while promoting TranSystems as an employer of choice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruitment with knowledge of screening, interviewing, and hiring practices. If you have a passion for finding untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping individuals find promising careers, we want to hear from you. Although we'd prefer the candidate to be located in the central region, this position can be 100% remote.

General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.

  • Partner with the compensation team to ensure the proper job descriptions are being posted.

  • Build diverse applicant pipeline by actively sourcing and contacting candidates through colleges, organizations, referrals, and internet career sites. Provide organization information and opportunities to candidates, while maintaining rapport and keeping candidates engaged.

  • Grow and foster high-touch relationships, while building a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open. Utilize CRM within ATS to create talent pools, build and nurture relationships with passive talent, and announce open positions to qualified candidates.

  • Continuously partner with HR team and hiring managers to design, refine, and implement innovative and proactive recruiting strategies.

  • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.

  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure compliance with OFCCP and Affirmative Action as it relates to hiring practices.

  • Lead candidate status changes through the recruiting process, while adhering to the job posting policy.

  • Manage offer process including confirmation of approvals and appropriate language in the offer letter.

  • Maintain applicant tracking and manage recruiting lifecycle through iCIMS.

  • Accomplish human resources and organization's mission by completing related results as needed. Actively contribute to HR strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:

  • At least 5 years of corporate recruiting experience.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-through in a timely manner.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience with OFCCP and AA compliance.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search.

  • Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems (including ATS and HRIS).

  • Proven experience finding passive candidates for hard to fill roles. Experience engaging candidates through conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.).

  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

  • Actively advocates for full inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diversity and values equity for all employees, partners, clients, and the communities that TranSystems serves.

What we'd prefer for you to bring to our firm:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • At least 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

  • Previous experience sourcing and recruiting civil engineers, architects, and construction inspectors.

  • Experience working with iCIMS.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create recruiting strategies.

  • Process improvement experience.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Washington, or NY City, TranSystems is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
