Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

The corporate recruiter is responsible for driving all aspects of the recruiting process for different position types (i.e., PRN, part-time, full-time/direct hire, etc).

The recruiter will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by self and the center colleagues by putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

Responsibilities

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to create and review job requisitions, defining and validating key position requirements (i.e. education, experience, technical competencies, travel and/or relocation requirements).

  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.

  • Source, Recruit, and Pre-screen candidates for a variety of skill sets and multiple positions to include contract, contract to perm and permanent placement opportunities.

  • Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match job requirements.

  • Determine job offer details, prepare and extend new-hire offers.

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.

  • Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system.

  • Develop and provide weekly and monthly recruiting reports to Recruiting Lead.

  • Monitor/audit job requisition and candidate files and track applicant flow.

  • Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers and candidates.

  • Actively participates and contributes to process improvement strategies and projects within the Recruiting Team as well as the Human Resources Team.

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Well organized, detail oriented and has the capacity to multi-task in a fast paced work environment

  • Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, hiring managers and senior level management.

  • Understanding of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, OFCCP, etc)

  • General Human Resources knowledge and understanding of common recruiting metrics

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years recruiting experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time

What You'll Do: * Partner with hiring managers to understand and identify essential job qualifications and talents, develop sourcing strategies, and assess candidates. Utilize and interpret assessment tools effectively. Educate and develop managers' skills in equitable and valid hiring practices. * Develop effective, creative advertising and outreach strategies to reach your target candidate audience, including diverse candidates. Develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for present and future openings. * Investigate new platforms and bring original ideas to the team on sourcing and recruiting approaches. * Administer the applicant tracking system and recruiting process, from the time the requisition is approved until the time the candidate is on-boarded. Timely and accurate disposition of candidates is crucial. * Routinely source candidates through various databases and LinkedIn using Boolean search techniques. Proactively network through industry contacts to solicit candidate referrals. Target and pitch passive candidates on career opportunities. * Communicate persuasively in writing and over the phone to candidates, hiring managers and human resource partners. Ensure organized, accurate and effective communication to all parties throughout the recruiting process. * Systematically map the talent pool, including competitive companies, pay, layoffs, attraction factors, etc. * Troubleshoot, cold call, brainstorm, problem solve as needed to fill tough positions. * Assist in the creation of reports, metrics, updates and presentations. * Ensure compliance throughout the recruiting and hiring process with all applicable policies, procedures and laws. Support AAP and diversity outreach efforts. * Assist in the interpretation and administration of company policies, procedures and guidelines. Advise and counsel others in equitable application of company policies. * Plan, evaluate, research and recommend systematic or process improvements in the recruiting function. * Manage relationships with third-party recruiting agencies. Hold them accountable for high quality, diverse candidate submissions. * Attend job fairs, university events and speaking engagement as required. What You'll Bring: * Bachelor's degree * Two years of recruiting experience or equivalent experience in HR, marketing or sales * Excellent judgment, organizational and analytical skills * Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills * Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter preferred. Intermediate or advanced Boolean search skills a plus. * Skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. * Prior experience with applicant tracking systems strongly preferred. * Fundamental understanding of employment laws, including Equal Opportunity Employment and Affirmative Action or ability to learn.
