Bell is seeking a Military & Veterans Program Recruiter to support our military & veterans recruiting strategy. This position will be located at our Fort Worth, Texas location.
The Military & Veterans Program Recruiter is responsible for execution of the Bell military and veterans recruiting strategy. This strategy will focus on veteran pipeline building, identifying and sourcing veterans with specialized military skill sets and relationship building with internal and external organizations (including military installations and veterans service organizations) to continually attract and retain top military veteran talent.
Job Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
Develop and maintain a military veteran sourcing & pipeline strategy installation sourcing strategy.
Build Bell brand awareness and foster relationships with military base transition centers supporting transitioning military personnel
Host and participate in on-base, local and national hiring events/career fairs that focuses on veteran hiring and promotes Bell's commitment to veteran employment
Maximize use of external veterans focused programs (such as the US Army PaYS program, US Chamber of Commerce Hiring our Heroes program, Wounded Warriors etc.) to sourcing and hiring.
Serve as advisor to Employee Resource Groups, Bell Diversity and Inclusion Program identifying opportunities for creating a diverse candidate pool.
Maintain standardized metrics for core, common and critical processes, related to experienced and military recruiting.
Prepare reports & briefings for TAC Manager.
Generate and assist in tracking and processing of offer letters and sign-on bonus agreements to ensure all documents are reviewed, signed and handled timely. Assist with all placement related paperwork and pre-employment activity.
3 years of veteran or corporate level recruiting experience required
Military recruiting experience preferred
The successful candidate will have proven relationship building skills. They will possess a blend of general business, interpersonal skill, and managerial influence, as well as the ability to conduct proactive recruiting strategies to attract and select the best talent for Bell Helicopter at the professional and executive level, both internal and external to Bell. Being a good listener and having a passion for developing others are vital to success in this role.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Taleo preferred.
Experience recruiting touch labor and entry level positions across multiple disciplines.
Strong ability to proactively search and recruit for candidates internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers and desire for strong customer service.
Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy and articulate the needs of a position.
Ability to work in a team environment.
