Corporate Paralegal

Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our team

JOB SUMMARY:

The Paralegal reports directly to the General Counsel and will provide cross-functional support for the Development, Operations, Facilities, Legal and Accounting teams as required for the daily management and growth of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in answering all responsive pleadings/document production involved in the case management of litigation matters.

• Assist with corporate filings and annual reports.

• Assist with preparation of business entity documentation.

• Create workflows to efficiently accomplish the foregoing tasks, with specific attention to paid to deadlines.

• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelors' degree in business or equivalent work experience in Paralegal

• 1 - 2 years' work experience as Paralegal with law firm or corporate legal department preferred.

• Organized, flexible and independent worker, with a superior work ethic.

• Demonstrated excellence in project management.

• Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work within timelines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.

• Ability to read and interpret various legal documents.

• Sound business ethics, including the protection of confidential information.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel.
