Corporate Paralegal

POSITION OVERVIEW

Stream Data Centers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our in-house attorneys in various areas of legal practice. Your responsibilities will include managing and organizing legal files and folders, preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing contracts, and assisting in the resolution of legal issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled Corporate Paralegal to contribute to the success of a dynamic and fast-paced organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the corporate database and ensure all corporate records are organized and up-to-date
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to gather information and documents
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, NDAs, and corporate governance documents
• Assist with corporate transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and closing activities
• Assist in preparing abstracts and summaries of legal documents, including leases and financing documents
• Support the legal team in managing legal projects and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Conduct legal research and provide support in preparing legal memoranda
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with regulatory authorities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
• 4+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate legal department or law firm
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal processes
• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software

The pay range for this role is between $85,000 - $100,000 base. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
