The Firmwide Operational Risk Capital and Stress Testing (FORCAST) is a risk group within Operational Risk Management (ORM), reporting up to the Firm's Chief Risk Officer (CRO). FORCAST is responsible for Firmwide Operational Risk Measurement and Operational Risk Management for International Legal entities and covers the mandate of Operational Risk Capital Calculation, Operational Risk Stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), and Scenario Analysis.

The Program Management team within FORCAST is seeking an Associate to help drive key technology related initiatives and establish governance and control processes across the group. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, team player, self-starter and results driven with project management / PMO and technology implementation experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Implementation

  • Lead requirements sessions with stakeholders to understand the as-is processes, capture key requirements and define scope of technology deliverables

  • Lead solution and design sessions with subject matter experts and technology partners to reach an agreement on technology solutions

  • Develop user stories for technology development based on business / functional requirements and agreed solutions

  • Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from end-to-end, starting from defining test strategy, developing test scripts, managing defects to ensuring the UAT closure

  • Assist in the technology release roadmap development, sprint planning and product backlog refinement

  • Work closely with subject matter experts, technology partners, and key stakeholders to support on-time technology implementation

Governance and Project Management

  • Support CCAR project management for Operational Risk

  • Lead and participate in the development of internal/ad-hoc projects, control related projects and regulatory deliverables

  • Monitor projects against milestones and report status to stakeholders on regular basis

  • Identify and manage the dependencies, risks, issues and critical path of projects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology or related discipline

  • Experience in application development / implementation with agile methodology

  • Experience in eliciting, analyzing and translating business / functional requirements into user stories

  • Experience in project management / PMO

  • Experience in financial services industry with focus in Operational Risk, Audit, Technology or Compliance or other controls related area is preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • High-level of attention to detail and quality assurance

  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and commitment to deliver under tight deadlines

  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with individuals at all levels including senior management.

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic software packages including Power Point, Excel, Project, Visio and JIRA
