Drives the Corporate Learning and Development strategy by:
Designing, developing and delivering global learning programs to achieve specific learning/performance/business objectives
Continuously improving existing learning programs through partnership with all business segments and evaluation.
Assessing programs for effectiveness using corporate learning metrics and standards
Acting as internal Subject Matter Expert (SME and consulting with internal clients regarding learning, engagement, and change initiatives.
Working on several projects simultaneously
Maintains library of course options by:
Maintaining and updating existing curriculum and course materials, working with appropriate subject matter experts to ensure current content
Reviewing and providing input to course material developed by others
Developing training aids such as handbooks, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and instructional manuals
Developing and distributing event schedule ensuring coordination with the hiring and training demands of the organization
Conducts all job responsibilities in accordance with regulatory requirements by:
Establishing processes; creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary
Ensuring proper records are maintained by tracking attendance and course completion.
Serving as a SME in client audits as necessary.
Ensures cost effectiveness of learning and development programs by:
Recommending and maintaining budget for assigned projects
Negotiating vendor contracts and agreements for assigned projects
Researching and evaluating training best practices
Maintaining knowledge of resources available for training topics
Keeping current with best practices, system design and maintenance
Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by

Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by
2-4 years' experience carrying out internal/external training and creating training content
Experience working in a team environment where deliverables and timelines must be met
Instructional design, curriculum development, or pharmaceutical/clinical industry experience is a plus
Strong motivational skills and abilities - promoting a team-based approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
