Seeking professional investigator with law enforcement background. Investigator will be responsible for conducting objective, fair, thorough and timely investigations into allegations of fraud, criminal activity, or conduct which jeopardizes corporate assets or the health and well-being of our guests and associates. All functions, duties or tasks associated with this position are to be carried out in an ethical and professional manner in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.
Conduct independent investigations involving medium to high levels of complexity with discretion and integrity. As a hospitality company the privacy of our guests is a priority. Investigative function will also include instances of suspected criminal activity of associates.
Extract essential information and analysis from investigations and summarize the information into actionable reports.
Communicate issues related to the investigation to appropriate individuals within the corporate chain of command.
Maintain productive relationships with corporate partners. (Legal, HR, Accounting)
Maintain productive relationships with law enforcement.
Involve law enforcement when circumstances warrant.
Identify information or security gaps. Familiarity with CCTV systems and other digital files a plus. Ability to learn and understand functions of other IT systems is desired. (Guest reward systems, online transactions)
Work with existing security and loss prevention partners.
Organize and participate in training sessions/seminars. (Active Shooter).
Bachelor Degree or commensurate work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in law enforcement.
Strong and effective communications skills including verbal presentation.
Analytical skills with a high technical aptitude.
Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.
Knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
Ability to assimilate to a corporate and consumer centric environment.
