The Corporate Inventory Manager will primarily be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reviewing inventory levels and inventory production & retail store buy planning for multiple product lines. Working with retail merchandise buyers and product-line production managers, the Corporate Inventory Manager will assist to establish and apply inventory metrics to ensure appropriate product and category retail buys & production planning to maintain inventory levels to efficiently meet demand, while minimizing working capital inventory investment. The Corporate Inventory Manager will assist to develop category buys and production & merchandising strategies by developing forecast models to monitor and assist with purchase recommendations for on-hand inventory levels. The Corporate Inventory Manager will monitor pre-season demand and customer booking orders to determine and "true up" inventory investments as the selling season approaches, and will monitor actual sell-thru and make appropriate recommendations to maximize profitability and inventory turns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Retail Merchandise Buyers and Production Managers to develop buying plans that support overall strategy of in- stock positioning for key merchandise categories, classifications, and other items
Create and maintain detailed plans at style and category levels inventory sell through and productivity
Develop analyses to monitor planning and positioning of retail store and warehouse inventories to maximize customer service while minimizing inventory carrying costs
Recommend revisions to buy plans based on sound analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Prepare inventory management reports by analyzing and summarizing inventory, sales information and trends
Utilize reports to measure category profitability and product sell through to optimize category selection and increase profits
Assist to develop and establish inventory financial metrics and company inventory goals.
Analyze SKU and product line productivity to achieve desired turn, WOS goals, and minimize unproductive inventories.
Work closely with retail buying and production planning teams by identifying opportunities through replenishment planning, redistribution of retail store inventory, and overall retail store and warehouse inventory management
Analyze product line sales and inventory levels to ensure inventory production and inventory buys properly reflect sales trends and achieves company inventory goals
Analyze and monitor core and essential product inventory levels to ensure core product is optimized in accordance with company goals
Facilitate meetings with retail merchandise buyers and production planning teams to forecast inventory and establish and maintain appropriate planning procedures
Develop and maintain monthly item forecasts and component safety stock levels for items.
Establish collaborative relationships with Merchandise Buyers, Visual Merchandisers, and Production Managers to ensure availability and the timely delivery of product to stores and wholesale customers
BA or BS degree
5+ years previous experience as a Forecast Analyst, Merchandise or Demand Planner, Demand Planning Analyst or similar position from industries such fashion, apparel, footwear, jewelry, or similar.
Experience utilizing and applying forecasting methodologies.
Ability to objectively interpret historical sales and inventory data to extract meaningful themes that advise future business strategies.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Expert knowledge of the structure, uses & elements of traditional Open to Buy
Extreme proficiency in Retail Math (sales, gross margin, GMROI, DOS) and proven ability to translate those metrics into actionable information that drives financial results
Experience with forecasting, buying, inventory planning and control processes in the fashion, apparel, footwear or jewelry industries, a plus.
Proactive and creative in approaching problems and presenting financial data
Advanced Excel and Financial Modeling skills
