Job Title: Corporate Human Resources Management Systems Manager

Department: Human Resources

This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management of the human resources management system (HRMS) while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the HR organization. Responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the scope of the HRMS. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, implement and maintain initiatives in support of the Human Resources goals and objectives using Workday.

  • Determine future Workday modules to be implemented by consulting human resources executive and other management to ascertain organization needs for human resources and prepare CAR for approval.

  • Own Workday product modules (including HCM, compensation, absence, benefits, recruiting, talent/performance, etc.) as they are implemented.

  • Prepare for Workday updates, rolling out new features and functionality to optimize performance and usability.

  • Vendor Relations

  • Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRMS functionality.
  • Develop, support, and optimize operations, processes, data flow, security, reporting, data integrity and analytics.

  • Respond to employee requests and/or provide the tools and training necessary for HR Business partners to respond to employees.

  • Report and organize data in a manner that will help both HR and the business make strategic decisions.

  • Work with Leadership to further develop a strategy to optimize the HRMS system to meet workforce requirements and help drive accuracy. Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes.

  • Promote proactive approaches using the HRMS to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRMS capabilities. Based on business need, negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT department, functional staff at the field locations and others as appropriate.

  • Responsible for researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of management experience with people or HR projects.
