Provides analytical, reporting, project management and training support to various Human Resources departments. Analyzes existing processes and procedures and develops recommendations for streamlining and improvements. Delivers leadership training and development programs for the company.

  • Participates in project planning and implementation, including analysis of existing processes and procedures, developing recommendations for streamlining/improvement, collaboration with multiple departments, and assisting with project plan development

  • Oversees multiple, simultaneous projects

  • Develops, interprets and creates presentation materials for HR metrics, including turnover, retention, pre-employment screens, recruitment activities, etc.

  • Generates regular and adhoc reports on specific HR/ER and Recruiting metrics, ensuring accuracy of data and adhering to established processes. Prepares comprehensive special reports and presents results as necessary

  • Researches and analyzes human resources data to make recommendations, draw conclusions, and create plans of actions

  • Handles administrative functions for immigrations requirements/tasks

  • Conducts research to determine the effectiveness of Human Resources program and policies. Develops and proposes improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of Human Resources operations

  • Examines and assists with identification of key trends in the data and create statistical summaries and special reports for functions and/or business units as needed

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or other equivalent degree required

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred

  • 2+ years of analytic and reporting experience

  • Strong statistical, analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations

  • Strong follow-through skills and the ability to be the driving force behind the completion of multiple HR projects

  • Immigration knowledge preferred

  • Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Knowledge of Recruitment and HRIS softwares

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other applications as needed for report preparation

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Conduct analyses of varying complexity, of Home Depot s HR, Payroll and related business data and processes with emphasis on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems and determining solutions to manage them and that drive effective business decisions * Coordinate the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions that improve HR and business decisions and that drive operational efficiency. * Gather functional requirements , maintain documentation, and develop project plans and status reports used for managing Analytics projects and that guide the development activities of IT and HR Services supporting staff * Design and develop dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids designed to educate, inform and influence the decisions of HR clients and business leaders within Home Depot. * Educate and raise the awareness of business leaders and internal HR clients regarding availability and use of analytical tools, techniques and the opportunities that exist with strategic use of Home Depot s HR information assets. NATURE AND SCOPE * Typically reports to Sr. Manager of HR Services * No associates report to this role on a permanent basis. ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Must be eighteen years of age or older. * Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with the statistical analysis and modeling of business data, preferably in areas of HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance within a retail or large service based organization. * Six Sigma training and certification. Practical experience with applying Six Sigma techniques in formal business projects * Experience with statistical analysis software such as SAS, Minitab, JMP * Experience with designing business reports, dashboards and graphical presentations conveying analytical concepts * Experience with Excel and Powerpoint using advanced level spreadsheet analytics for developing presentation * Experience working Microsoft Access or similar relational databases. SQL skills beneficial * Experience with business data modeling, data warehousing and data mining techniques * Familiarity or experience with Microstrategy or other BI tools a plus. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: * Strong analytical skills including the ability to assimilate extensive data and provide actionable recommendations * Quantitative reasoning skills, including the ability to work with numbers and to summarize data into graphical or tabular forms. * Project management experience, consulting and facilitation skills * Solid communications and interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus * Strong presentation skills.
