Job Description:

The Global Technology Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships team drives technology strategy and enables innovation across the firm while ensuring that technology and the business are meaningfully connected to the broader technology ecosystem, including strategic technology vendors, emerging technology companies (startups) and venture capital firms, with the goal of fostering best-in-class partnerships and the adoption of emerging technology.

We are seeking an individual to help support a senior team of 8+ Managing Directors and Executive Directors who help drive strategy, innovation and partnerships across JPMC. This team is based across locations including New York, UK and the West Coast, and so the ability to effectively support remote colleagues is a key job requirement.

Performance Expectations:

  • Manage complex calendars of team members in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Schedule demanding internal and external meetings that may involve multiple time zones; adjust and prioritize last-minute changes including logistics such as conference rooms, Telepresence set-up, Webex and confirming meeting acceptances; resolve calendar conflicts proactively with team members

  • Telephone coverage for team members, accurately taking any key messages and details of caller

  • Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Arrange and maintain extensive travel plans and itineraries for both international and domestic travel for team members

  • Reconcile and complete expense reports via Concur in compliance with firm policies

  • Maintain a poised attitude under pressure with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a deadline driven environment

  • Extremely well organized with exceptional time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle constantly changing needs

  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity, confidentiality and trustworthiness

  • Approachable and positive attitude

  • Work cooperatively with the other Executive Admin on the team, in positive partnership to back up each other smoothly, and also with other Executive Admin's across Global Technology

  • Support logistic planning of high profile client events including the J.P. Morgan Technology Innovation Symposium, Strategic Partner Summit, Technology Innovation Forum, and others.

Hours are 8:30am 5:00pm

  • Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Superior oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to manage competing priorities i.e. calendar management

  • Advanced ability to organize

  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in executive interactions

  • Proven experience interacting with senior management

  • At least three years of administrative experience ideally supporting Managing Director level

The successful candidate will rely on excellent organization skills to effectively handle multiple priorities. The individual will utilize resourcefulness and acumen to adapt processes and procedures to achieve first class results in line with the department's activities and goals. Duties include being highly punctual, heavy travel arrangements, scheduling internal/external meetings, answering phones, processing expense reports via Concur, handling incoming/outgoing correspondence, and ordering/maintaining supplies.
