Job Summary:
Responsible for all corporate events, meetings and special events.

In this position you will:

  • Development and execution of global events strategic plan for all events, including:

  • Coordinates all Event logistics

  • Coordinates all amenities, accommodations, site selection

  • Prepares effective event meeting rooms, transportation, and food menus

  • Manages dcor, set-up, audio-visual and staff to ensure quality

  • Prepares reports and metrics for success
    2.Provides Effective Communication in an ongoing and timely manner

  • Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding corporate event goals to produce desired results.

  • Communicates effectively with Senior Director of Marketing providing updates and status of projects

  • Cultivates and maintains effective relationships with key Natus executives and industry members

  • Communicates well with Natus employees, vendors and customers

  • Meets deadlines and timeframes at all times, answers all inquiries within 24 hours

  • Collaborates and communicates with all Natus Strategic Business Units

  • Ensures effective and timely follow-up for each event, briefings, thank you letters, surveys
    3.Manages Budgets

  • Develops, maintains and reconciles detailed budgets

  • Monitors and controls event budgets

  • Submits Purchase Requisitions, invoices in a timely manner

  • Executes all vendor contracts in accordance with Natus policy

  • Negotiates all necessary contracts

  • Specific Meetings Managed

  • Annual Sales Meeting for all SBU's

  • Circle of Excellence

  • Distributor Meetings for all SBU's

  • Mid-Year Sales Meetings for all SBU's

  • Large Customer Events for all SBU's

  • Sales trainings for all SBU's

  • Other meetings or events as requested

  • Manage day-to-day operational responsibilities of assigned product line

  • Respond to requests from field (Natus staff and distributors), and internal staff, within 24 hours

  • Does not directly supervise employees however indirectly carries out supervisory responsibilities to ensure all staff involved with corporate events perform in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws to achieve successful events.

  • Successful experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve a consistent goal and brand.

Travel Required: Moderate travel required.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing, prefer Master's degree (M.A.); four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)

  • Successful experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other individuals and departments in a fast paced environment

The Events and Education Coordinator is a food enthusiast who is passionate about engaging guests in Eataly's mission. In collaboration with the Assistant Marketing Manager, the Coordinator executes the Education, Private Dining and Events program and organizes these teams. Reports to the Assistant Marketing Manager. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures. * Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online * Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes at Eataly's Chef's Table cooking school, group reservations, buyouts, press events, tastings, private dinner and receptions for 2-500 people * Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events * Builds and manages client lists and relationships * Other job-related duties as requested MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * At least 2 years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing and/or event planning. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent customer service skills. * Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. PREFERRED: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. * Knowledge of Italian wine and cuisine. * Proficiency in Italian language. * Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language. * Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
